Dual nozzle

Dual nozzle machine needs no programming. Rotation speed should be 1 rpm. If rotation speed much higher, the jet impact will be weakened.
Due to the criss-cross pattern the dual nozzle machine achieves relatively fast a full coverage of the tank (see animation below).

It could be decided at an early stage to check the result and to stop the cleaning because the tank is found already clean, although the complete cycle has not been finished yet. This would be less likely achieved with a single nozzle because the machine cleans only sections of the tank. If stopped before the full cycle has been executed, the lower section is most probably not clean because it was not covered yet.
As a consequence of this, it can be concluded that the variability of the dual nozzle machine is higher. Cleaning time can be adjusted in a much more flexible manner compared with the single nozzle machine.
Another positive effect is the temperature during the cleaning. If the cargo requires hot cleaning the entire tank remains hot with dual nozzle machine.
A disadvantage compared with the single nozzle machine is the impact of the jet. Because of the 2 jets, the impact is less. High viscous cargoes could, however, require the high jet impact.
The water consumption is lower compared to the single nozzle, which can be seen in the comparison chart.
